[Tlhingan-hol] Hints and tips : Verb prefixes

Some of the prefixes come easier than others, because they simply come up
more. If you look at the materials for the KLCP level one exam, the
prefixes required are the ones that come up more.

Memorizing the chart is a great step, and I still occasionally have to
re-memorize it for some of the less-used prefixes, but using the individual
prefixes in context is the only way to really have them solidly, without
having to pause and go through the chart in your head. This generally
comes fairly quickly for prefixes like jI-, vI-, qa-, and Da-, but you
could theoretically go years without using some others enough to become
thoroughly familiar with them. Some people employ the strategy of spending
some time speaking/writing in the "royal we" so as to use the other set of
prefixes intensively. Given the current strong group of beginners, you
might start a "royal we" conversation for prefix practice. It will make a
difference fast!
