Can I use the topic marker {-'e'} in the following manner?


1) qama' mupbogh 'avwI''e' vIHoH = I killed the guard who struck the prisoner

2) qama''e' mupbogh 'avwI' vIHoH = I killed the prisoner whom the guard struck



I don't think the topic marker is required in #1, but I added it for clarity of comparison.


If so, then would the reverse also hold?



3) mulegh qama' mupbogh 'avwI''e' = the guard who struck the prisoner sees me
4) mulegh qama''e' mupbogh 'avwI' = the prisoner whom the guard struck sees me
