As promised, the start of a new 'ay''a' today.  As the lives of the 
characters are starting to converge, this isn't going far from what 
you've recently seen. In 'ay''a' chorgh, 'eSSIm and Mahoun progressed 
from physical attraction to caring for one another and even trying to 
accommodate each other's cultures. At the end of the chapter, Essim 
managed not to cut Mahoun open in search of data that could be 
concealed in him, and Mahoun promised to get a doctor on his home 
planet to remove it, and send it to her.  In 'ay''a' Hut, vajar and 
crew met Essim, with grass in her hair, right after Mahoun left, and 
Mahoun beamed back down briefly so he and vajar could 
{qIHqa'}.  Essim had a great time with the Dugh crew and then walked 
in on their conspiracy, but did not accuse them openly, instead 
accepting their gift of fresh prey and walking away. That was 
probably confusing to read. I promised you wouldn't have to wait long 
to find out what was up with that.

[225] This chapter has the unfortunate distinction of being 
translated from English that had already been translated from 
Klingon. I must have accidentally hit the space bar while it was 
highlighted, because when I went to edit it, there was no chapter 182 
at all. Fortunately I had translated it into English for a friend, so 
retrieved it from my outgoing e-mail and translated it back. Not the 
same, but good enough I hope. I wonder if it seems different from the rest?
