I've read your translation. I don't know the original version of that song
or poem. I am also only a beginner in Klingon so please be patient with me
:)

Saying {qoH'a' loDnal}, did you mean foolish husband ? according to what
I've read in TKD such a construction should be understood as N1's N2 or
alternatively N2 of N1. TKD page 30 chapter 3.4. So in that case it seems
to be fool's husband or husband of the fool (or great/huge fool {-'a'}).
Please correct me if I'm wrong. Wouldn't loDnal Doghqu' suit here better ?

What did you mean by Sor nItlh ? Wooden stick ? Wooden finger ?

tIqHa'qu' ? was it supposed to mean too long ?

Shouldn't there be {-moH} in sentence: {chay’ taj vIjej, lIySa’} ? how
knife I'm sharp ? {chay' taj vIjejmoH, lIySa'} That's breaks number of
syllabes in that line though. That would apply to the whole verse.

Same about {jejmeH nagh let yIlo’}, although I'm not entirely sure here.
{jejmoHmeH nagh let yIlo'} ? Whole verse again.

In {chay’ yIQ vIqeng, lIySa’} didn't you want to say {bIQ} - water ?. Whole
verse again.
