Hee hee. :) I'm finding {tlhoS X-law'} a good workaround for "as though, as if", in a sort of irrealis. nom qet; tlhoS tlha'law'taH QIncha' "he was running as though he were being chased by a krencha". But it doesn't work for very many subjunctive environments.
