I just joined this group. I'm a professional linguist (majored in French,
served as an Arabic/Kurdish interpreter in the Navy, studied
Greek/Hebrew/Aramaic in seminary, now I teach high school Latin/French), and
I've recently been interested in studying a fictional language, so here I
am! I just started learning the Klingon verb system, and I have a couple
questions about the translations below:

"Dujvam vItlhe'moH. yuQ vIchegh!"

"Turn this ship. Return to the planet!"

Shouldn't this be "yItlhe'moH" and "yIchegh" (Imperative, 3rd sing. object)?

"jImoD!"

"Hurry!"

Shouldn't this be: "yImoD" (imperative) rather than "jImoD" ("I hurry")?

"qatlh jIbejbe'?"

"Why aren't you watching?"

Shouldn't this be: "qatlh bibejbe'" (2nd sing.)?

I am still new to the verb prefix system, so I could me missing something
here. Just curious!

"yIbejtaH 'e' vIra'!
I commanded that you keep watching!

"jaghvaD jumagh DaneH!"
"You want to betray us to the enemy!"

"'uQwIjvaD ghotI' vIjon vIneH!"
"I wanted to catch a fish for my dinner!"
(use of {-vaD}?)

"ghochlIjDaq 'uQ DavutnISbe'!"
"At your destination, you won't need to make dinner!"
(trying to say "you won't need dinner where you're going!" like a threat to
throw the guy overboard or something. Does that work?)
