{qep} is the word for "meeting", so with the used suffixes, these words 
mean "great meeting" and "minor gathering".

Within members of the KLI, {qep'a'} stands for the annual meeting of the 
KLI, and {qepHom} stands for any kind of small meeting where people 
study klingon within a small group.

There is a qepHom in Germany, which has grown over the years to become a 
very large meeting, with over 60 attendees this year.

Marc Okrand reveals vocabulary at both the qep'a' and the qepHom, so 
these two have become major "sources" of new words.
