The poetic interpretation is your own, and of the English. Unless you DO read the original the same way the machine did. Do you? How then would you express "long route"? (The original sentence is not mine. It could be from Tao, Gilgamesh or the book of Mark).

I believe I'm just as strong an advocate as you are of using a  word that has the correct meaning, not one whose definition happens to match the English word. That's Qov's fifth rule, after all. Bang your drum all you like, but don't bang it in my ear when it has nothing to do with what I'm saying.
