I would like to share with any other beginner, who may be here, the
way I managed to overcome some of the difficulties I've encountered so
far in Klingon.

The first difficulty I faced was how to memorize the verb prefix table
; The problem mainly being, that there are a lot of verb prefixes, and
that they all look alike.

So,here is what solved the problem :

Day 1 : memorize "as a poem" the first column (jI,bI,ma,Su,yI,pe)
Day 2 : now the second column (cho,mu,tu,mu,HI,HI)
Day 3 : the third column (qa,Du,pI,nI)
Day 4 : the fourth column (vI,Da,wI,bo,lu,yI,yI)

each of these days, just say in your mind several times a day each
column, as if you were reciting a poem.

Day 5 : repeat/revise the first 4 columns.

then..

Day 6 : the fifth column (ju,nu,che,nu,gho,gho)
Day 7 : the sixth column. (Sa,lI,re,lI)
Day 8 : the seventh column. (vI,Da,DI,bo,tI,tI)

and then..

Day 9 : repeat/revise the fourth,fifth and sixth column.
Day 10 : repeat/revise all of them.

The next step is one time each day, to sit down and write all of the
columns. Now, pay attention to where you need the zero prefix, and
where there isn't a prefix at all. After several days, chances are
that :

a. you will be fed up by the very idea of a verb prefix
b. ..but you will have learned the entire table.

Of course, this doesn't mean that you'll have learned them *forever*..
As time goes by,you're bound to begin forgetting them. For this
reason, once you have learned them, you'll need every 2-3 days to
recite them in your mind revising them again. It will take less than a
minute (literally) but it's definitely worth it.

I don't know if this helps anyone, however it certainly did work for me.
