Someone once told me a different story, that the reason the Addendum
was tacked on to the end was because the publisher had lost the
originals to the main body of TKD. But I don't recall who told me
that.

In any case, that's not a problem now, is it? Book printing isn't done
by engraving plates any more. They can do an on-demand run with a
laser printer, like they did with the paq'batlh.

I'm pretty sure if permission were granted we (the KLI or whoever) can
get together a group of volunteers to edit and proofread it.
