[Tlhingan-hol] KLBC: "Which" and uses of question words

I'm just inserting the question word where the verb goes. Literally, it
comes out as "The officer is what-ing the child?" It immediately suggested
itself as a way to ask, "What is the officer doing to the child?", which I
would ordinarily have rendered as <puqvaD nuq vangtaH yaS?> or some such
construction.
I had never considered nuq or 'Iv replacing the pronoun acting as a verb.
Now that I learn that it can, it occurs to me that nuq might replace the
main verb of a sentence. (Right away, I can tell it's not going to work in
place of verbs used as adjectives.)
I have to read TKD 6.2 very carefully now, and see what it says. I don't
think I have stumbled onto valid usage, but I don't know for certain that I
haven't, either.
