Voragh's beaten me to it, but yep, for me Qav is "last" in the sense of "final one of a series" (the implication to me is that qImyal will not be receiving any more naDmey); "last" as in "most recent" would probably be chu'qu'.

The clash in person here was a little weird. I'd have expected lulajpa' (with the object being naDlIj from the previous clause), because Qa'bar just mentioned the naD as a noun; if you'd used qanaDpu' instead of naDlIj... vIngeHpu', I'd be fine with nIlajpa' here.
