I hope you haven't given up. Please please please don't feel 
overwhelmed by my saga. I just can't stop writing, and you know I've 
been studying Klingon for about twenty-four years. I do think writing 
stories is an excellent way to develop your Klingon.

* Don't feel persecuted by nitpicking of the grammar. It's the only 
way this list has ever learned to do things: correct to perfection, 
and as we don't actually know what perfection is, arguments break out.

* Don't worry about making mistakes. I'm proud to have made more 
mistakes in the last 120 days than the rest of the list put together.

* Don't think your story is inferior. Mine is rambling, unpaced, 
dizzyingly varying in tone--ranging from technical discussions, to 
romance, to puke jokes to non-consensual sexual violence -- and I 
didn't know what the ending was to be until about halfway through the 
story. I'm currently writing from an outline that covers about twenty 
chapters with the phrase "general wackiness ensues".

My story is now getting a bit too involved to have you write part of 
it, but I can still make yours part of mine by having one of your 
characters show up for a cameo and tell a story.  I posted 119 today. 
I have good places to drop a story in around 135 and 171. Or just 
tell me something about one of your characters and I'll put him/her 
in the story with a footnote referring to your story.  I love shared 
universes and I'm not picky if your ship/physics/command structure 
doesn't match mine.
