I never use that construction, always picking naQ 
instead in that context, but I don't have a problem with it.

Ah, that's a better excuse. I would have 
understood it sooner had he said wanI'vam Dun 
rather than ghu'vam Dun. Initially it sounds like 
he's intending to declare to the empire that it 
is ruled on account of 'utlh-dude's sword.
