[1] In the original this is /lomo/ "o Lion!". I'm relying heavily on the 'Iw = HoS symbolism from the KGT simile throughout.
[2] For a four-word phrase in the original, this is an incredibly complex piece of wordplay in the Georgian. I won't try to explain it unless anyone really wants to hear it, but suffice it to say I spent two hours trying to work out how best to render it and I'm still not over-happy.
