Our Beginners' Grammarian has made a small lookup error in his
dictionary. {chon} is a noun. It's used for things like {chonvaD
luchlIj yIghIr} "gather your gear for the hunt" or {wa'leS chon bom
wIqonchoH} "we begin composing the hunting song tomorrow'". The verb
for "hunt" is {wam}. Perhaps the verb {nej} "seek" would be
appropriate for the "pursue" idea of the original phrase.
