Okay, I'll try.

Hol nap 'oH *toki pona*'e'.
Toki pona is a simple language.

qam Do Duj nap law' toQDuj nap puS.
A bike is simpler than a Bird of Prey.

If you're a more casual beginner than qunnoq HoD, and not inclined to
force-feed yourself Klingon as dramatically as he has, you can still benefit
from this practice. Even if you make one sentence with one word per week,
and even if that sentence is very short, you're still exercising the word
and your grammar.

Say you took today's word and made the sentence:

nap mu'tlheghvam.

In addition to practicing the word of the day, you'd be exercising your
knowledge of correct word order, your knowledge of the word mu'tlhegh--or
your ability to look it up--and your knowledge of the noun suffix -vam. And
you'd be introducing or reinforcing those things for people who lack the
confidence to make up their own sentences. Yes, you must post the sentence,
because otherwise you can't learn from the mistakes that you will inevitably
make.

So you're a total, total beginner and can't make a single sentence?
If the word is a verb, put jI- on it. You get, "I <do the verb>. jInap = I
am simple.
If the word is a noun stick it after Daj. You get "<noun> is interesting."
Daj Hol. = Language is interesting.
If you get chuvmey you can almost always get away with putting it in front
of the sentence you made last week. Or wait until someone else posts a
sentence and riff of it. No, it's not cheating. Anything that gets you
working in the language is a fair win.
