[Tlhingan-hol] Klingon Word of the Day: meq

Concerning that last sentence, I'm not sure that it works.

ghaH QaQ law' chaH QaQ law', mojlaHbe' luQaHbe'chugh 'e' meq ghaH.
he reasoned that if they didn't help him he wouldn't be able to become
as good as them.

(Note: Your suggestion of using -Qo' instead is a good one.)

ghaH QaQ law' chaH QaQ law'

If you are trying to say "They are more good than him" you need to say
{chaH QaQ law' ghaH QaQ puS.} The parts have to come in that order, with
the {law'} coming first. (I imagine that using law' twice was just a
mistake. If that was intentional, then I *really* don't understand.)

To say what you are saying in the rest of the sentence(s), I would use:

luQaHQo'chugh, rurchoHlaHbe' 'e' meq ghaH.

I'm not sure how to connect this to "him" becoming better like "them."

Q for everyone: Can you put -mo' in the midst of the law' / puS
construction?
