qechvetlh vIDelta' vIneH jIH je.
I wanted to say the same thing

mu'tlheghmey run tIchenmoH.
create short sentences first.

mu'mey neH tImughQo'.
Do not only translate the words.

qech yImugh.
Translate the meaning.

vay' DamughlaHbe'chugh, vaj yImughQo'.
If you can't translate something, just skip it.

mu'tlheghmeyvam vImughmeH, Hoch mu'mey vImughchu'be' chaq 'e' Datu'.
In these sentences, you may notice that they are no literal translations.

tIlaD, 'ej bIH Dayaj 'e' yInID.
Read them and try to understand them.

tugh, mu'tlheghmey tIq DamughlaH SoH'e'.
Soon you will also be able to translate long senteces like these.

ghIlab ghewmey tIbuSqo'.
Don't focus too much to grammatical details.

tlhIngan Hol yIlo' jay'.
USE Klingon.

rIn.
Over.
