He was not under NDA for those movies.  He actually shared some of the ways
they used to make sure people didn't leak scripts on those movies.
 (Apparently everyone had different stardates in their scripts!)  That is a
bit of a legal muddle, because while it remains in question whether anyone
can actually own a language, they certainly own the actual translations
that were part of a work-for-hire contract, even if they weren't used.
