[Noticed that I'd responded to the wrong thread previously. Sorry about that!]

Not a major one, really, but EuroTalk gives us {SIS yoD} for umbrella.
This could be seen as an indication that SIS can indeed be a noun.
However, it could also be be Maltz mucking about ... or perhaps it's a set expression that's been in use for a long time (it would make sense for Klingons to have rain protection of some sort, given their reluctance to getting wet), and can't be broken down word-for-word.

Nope. Call it {'IvtIH} "hip" (revealed at qepHom'a' 2011).

Stationary floating no, but if you're slowly drifting along you can use {vIH} "move, be in motion": *{QIt bIQ ghorDaq jIvIH}. It happen rarely, but Klingons do {Qal} "swim" (TNK) and {HaH'egh} "soak oneself (slang)":

KGT 91: The verb {HaH} [...] is now often used in the more general sense of "soak, drench". It is frequently heard in the reflexive form ({HaH'egh} "soak oneself") in reference to such activities as drinking a great deal, which has positive connotations, and bathing, an occasional undertaking with negative connotations.
