WRT Klingon anniversaries, Krikor Ajemian wrote (1/17/2007):

  March 23, 2007 will mark forty years since the first airing of the
  Star Trek episode 'Errand of Mercy', the first episode featuring
  Klingons (specifically Commander Kor, played by John Colicos).
  Effectively, it is the fortieth anniversary of Klingons.

Speaking of anniversaries, I can't think of anything other than {qoS} "birthday" to refer to one, which works for me:

    we need to celebrate TKD's 30th anniversary (?)
