I would agree with this. However, my own thinking is that this is currently the closest thing we have to canon, and will therefore rely on it until it's been contradicted.

I would say that he did; I asked him how one would say it, then he watched me write it, and then he said "Yeah, exactly; we agree that we disagree.". However, it's certainly true that the forum was hardly ideal.
