KGT 88:  Some of the other commonly eaten parts include ... {QoghIj} ("brain"; another word, {yab}, also means brain as an organ, but in addition it means "mind, intellect" and is not used in reference to food)

Brain lore in Trek:

{Qab} (theragen), when diluted with alcohol, deadens certain nerve endings in the brain, making it an effective defense against insanity caused by the deteriorating effects of interspace. Q liked to refer to Worf as "micro-brain" -- is this just a gratuitous insult or is the Klingon brain smaller than a human brain? Or does it just appear small encased by a large, ridged Klingon skull? (TNG "Hide and Q", "Q Who?", etc.)
