Subject: About Klingon, for a French magazine

My name is Julien Di Giacomo, I am a journalist writing an article about Klingon for a French magazine. I found your address on the KLI Email Directory, and I wondered if you'd like to answer a few questions to help me through my research, which is mainly centered on klingonists, both confirmed or beginners.
If you're willing to take a few minutes to answer, however, I'll ask you to do it quite quickly (today, if possible), as I'm wordking on a very very (and even more than that) tight schedule. feel free to skip questions as you please, and don't hesitate to add anything you think is relevant!

Here are my questions:

- How did you first become interested in Klingon, and how did you manage to learn it?

- Is it hard to find other people to speak Klingon to, online or IRL?

- Would you say there is such a thing as a "klingonist community"? If yes, how tight is it? Do you all know each other?

- I understand there are annual gatherings in Germany and in the United States. Have you ever been there? How is it like?

- How would you describe the typical klingonist?

- Is it hard to learn Klingon?

- How important is Klingon in your life? Is it a pastime, a deeper passion, something you do purely from a linguistic point of view, or on the opposite something that has given a new meaning to your life?
