AFAIK never used in a Klingon sentence.

Note the apparently related *verb* {ghIpDIj} "court martial" -- also never used in canon.

The Bortas under the command of a Captain Duras was crippled by the Enterprise in 2152; Archer was captured and put on trial on on the Narendra III outpost for conspiring against the Klingon Empire and fomenting revolt. The trial was presided over by a "magistrate" and Archer was defended by advocate Kolos. (ENT "Judgment")

Kirk and McCoy were tried on Kronos for assassinating Chancellor Gorkon. General Chang spoke for the prosecution; IIRC there was no mention of a defense advocate. (ST6)

The *mek'ba* {meqba'} is that portion of a Klingon trial or appeal in which evidence is heard during which all evidence must be heard in open council [cf. TNG "Sins of the Father"]

Formal Starfleet court martials at a starbase were prominently featured in TOS "Court Martial" and TNG "Measure of a Man". Shipboard court martials were seen in TOS "The Menagerie, Pt. I-II" and TOS "Turnabout Intruder".
