Habit from military and security clearance. Answer the question that was asked.
Being direct is also a Klingon trait.
Asking how many of something one has, or if it is their first, is not asking the number in sequence
of one of those items.

Without canon support, I saw others expressing uncertainty and offering alternative ways to ask the
question. I was offering another option, an alternative that changes only one word instead of the
whole sentence.
I have been quite tired this week, so if I missed the intent of this thread, disregard my posts. I
thought the thread was discussing the possible uses of the non-canon ['arDIch].
