The only distinction between tor ron and Der is the axis of rotation. Dice are symmetrical. Any axis can be defined as the longitudinal, and therefore the axis about which 'oH ronmoHlu'.  

If you think the starting orientation of the die defines its axes, well I guess you haven't seem me fly. :-)
