lolchu'taH most definitely refers to aTtitude, the orientation of the craft with respect to the horizon (in atmosphere), and in space presumably with respect to whatever galactic plane causes Star Trek ships to always meet each other right side up, and to hang tilted when damaged.

While  the correct attitude varies.by mode of flight, without additional context, lolchu'taH might be a synonym for yoyHa'taH.

Our resident 'orwI'pu' can probably shed mote light on this, but it seems to me this refers to attitude in flight dynamics; a sort of equivalent to angle/argument/orientation in other fields.
As the source puts it: "its orientation relative to something"
