paq'batlh (paq'raD, Canto 19) gives us «quv HIja'chuqQo'» as "Don't speak to me of honor", but I'm sure most of us would prefer to forget that ever happened.

Somebody said I can't, then I was confused about your message.

So I would summarize:
a) Canon shows only the person reported to as the object of {ja'}
b) Some people believe that the thing told or reported can also be its
object. But that's not confirmed.
