Interestingly, according to KGT berghmoH means "to irritate", suggesting that perhaps the gloss for bergh should perhaps be "be irritated, irritable".

Of course, there's already a fairly thin line between irritation and irritability. One means you're easily provoked, the other that you're easily provoked into being easily provoked.
[Dictionaries may disagree with me, but that's their loss.]
