Greetings, fellow jatlhwI'pu'!
I figured it was time we had another "Beginner's Corner", so I decided to try my hand at starting one.
The idea is simple: Everybody - be they new students or grammarians - is encouraged to submit Klingon sentences (with English translations) on this theme:
== Sentences as objects ==
A bit tricky, perhaps, but that's all the more reason to practice :)
As a first example:
---------------------------------------------
{mu'tlheghvam DalaDlaH 'e' vISIv.}
I wonder if you can read this sentence.
---------------------------------------------
Now you try!
---------------------------------------------
{nuq DaghItlh DaneH?}
What do you want to write?
{DaghItlhlaH 'e' vISov.}
I know that you can write it.
---------------------------------------------
Sincerely,
Felix (a.k.a. loghaD)
P.S. For more info on sentences as objects, check out section 6.2.5. in The Klingon Dictionary.
