At the end of the last 'ay' Mahoun had just used an energy weapon to

[21] It may seem obvious now, but when I was writing I got really 
stuck here for a bit, not quite sure how to get where I was going. I 
went out for a run and rethought the whole story from 'eSSIm's 
perspective, following her motivations. It all fit quite well, and 
then I knew how to get where we were going. You don't care about 
that, but I just wanted to assure you that I have all my characters' 
motivations in mind, and that I'm getting out of the house now and again.

Also, <jIH yISen> is my universe's equivalent of signing on the 
dotted line. It will show up again.

If you have an inclination to catch up on missed episodes, it's 
better to do it at http://nuqbopbom.blogspot.com and not via the 
mailing list. There are fewer typos there. I'm re-reading from the 
beginning and the typos are discouraging. But maybe I'm getting better. :-)
